How We Run an Online Quran Academy Across Time Zones
Last updated: October 8, 2026
Parents see a teacher who joins on time, a lesson that continues where the last one ended and a weekly progress message. Behind that are a few repeatable systems. Here is how we keep them running.
One timetable, many time zones
Every class is stored in the student's local time and the teacher's local time. When the USA or UK changes its clocks, the schedule shifts automatically, so a 5 PM class in Chicago stays at 5 PM for the family. Most missed lessons in online academies come from time zone mix-ups, not from teachers or students.
Lesson records parents can trust
After each class the teacher records attendance, the surahs or Qaida pages covered and the homework. That record becomes the weekly report and lets a substitute teacher continue without restarting.
Fees and teacher pay in one place
- Monthly invoices that match the number of classes in the plan
- Sibling discounts applied consistently
- Teacher payroll calculated from classes actually taught
- Clear records when a family pauses for travel or Ramadan
The software behind it
We run all of this on MadrasaSuite, a learning management system built specifically for Quran academies. It handles students, teachers, classes, time zones, fees, payroll and teacher support. If you run a madrasa or academy and want the same setup, you can contact the MadrasaSuite team on WhatsApp at +92 347 380 3012.
